Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are finally wife and man after being in a long term relationship of more than 3 years. The beautiful couple tied their knot yesterday in a fairy tale wedding followed by a lavish reception party for family, friends and the whole Bollywood fraternity.
And now, for those who are wondering if the actress is going to bid adieu to the Bollywood Industry after being Mrs. Ahuja… let us clear the air by saying that Sonam is still going to continue with her acting career. Apparently, the newly turned bride is so busy with her jam packed work schedule right now that she won’t even be able to go for her honeymoon anytime soon!
Sonam Kapoor will now walk the Cannes red carpet (May 14-15). Later, she will begin her shooting schedule and will also get busy with Veere Di Wedding promotions. Sonam has Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and The Zoya Factor in the pipeline.
“Anand won’t be at Cannes with her but the couple is planning an October-November honeymoon which will be delayed because of the bride-to-be’s choc-o-block schedule,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.
Since Anand owns homes in Delhi and London, and Mumbai being Sonam’s base; the newlyweds will now shuttle between Mumbai, Delhi (Anand’s hometown) and London after their marriage.
